Spring Hill Sunday Brunch

I decided to make dedicate Sundays to Sunday Brunch or Breakfast. Last week, I had Steak and Eggs on Madeira beach at Screwie Louies, this week I had breakfast at Susie's Again in Spring Hill. I must say that I am putting quite a few miles on my vehicle for these excursions. But it is all for you, baby!

This restaurant was recommended by 2 friends, so I decided to follow their lead and try it out. It is tucked away in a plaza at the entrance to Spring Hill on Spring Hill Drive. Located at 5382 Spring Hill Drive, it is very close to highway 19. There is a huge parking lot, so I don't think that will ever be an issue. The inside was very nicely lit and clean. Again, 1st stop is the bathrooms! Although the ladies room is very small, it was clean. I also love the fact that there is a counter in the middle of the restaurant so even if you are alone, you don't have to eat alone. This time, I wasn't alone. I was joined by my friends Dawn and Angelo. They are getting married in two weeks and I am Dawn's Maid of Honor.

Susie's Again is open 7 days a week from 6:00am - 2:00pm. They have quite an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. Complete dinners are also served all day. I decided to have breakfast - which I normally do not like to eat. I would much rather have dinner type food for breakfast. Most of the time I order sandwiches or salads for dinner. But, for you , I ordered breakfast! I had "Benny's Eggs" - Eggs Benedict and it was served with home fries. Dawn ordered the pancakes with strawberry topping and Angelo had the biscuits and gravy. He said the gravy is definitely not from a can. I was very pleased with my breakfast as well.
As I glanced around the room, it was quite interesting to see the variety of people dining. There were a couple of young teenagers, several middle aged couples, a group of friends and many tables of elderly couples. You can tell the food is good when there is such a diversity of people. The older folks want a value, but they also want good food. They are not going to spend their money on bad food! (That's just an opinion - not a fact!)
I am very curious about the lunch sandwiches and dinners. I will have to pop in again on one of my future trips to Spring Hill and taste something other than breakfast!
I do it all for you!!!

  2. Homefries look nice and crispy. I hate "white" homefries. Everything looks very tasty!
