Biendvenidos to Spring Hill!

I was so excited to see a Mexican restaurant on a recent trip to Spring Hill. La Iguana Loca is located at 5399 Commercial Way at the corner of US19 and River Country).

We were immediately greeted with a smiling face and seated. I had the homemade Sangria (which was 2 for 1!). It was made with a lot of fruit. I can't believe I forgot to take a picture.

We didn't order an appetizer and it's a good thing because the portions were so huge!!! I had the Carnitas Rancheras (with the spicy salsa verde.)

Angelo ordered the shrimp quesadilla and it looked scrumptious!

Dawn ordered the Carne Asada (sliced and grilled flank steak.) I was quite envious of her dish!
Our server used to wait on us at Mariachi's in Largo years ago! There was a group of us that went every Tuesday night. Call it a tradition. People moved, life happened and we stopped going there on Tuesday nights. It was fun to see him in Spring Hill!

  1. He looks like an attentive server! Food looks great...I love Mexican! I think I would try that shrimp quesadilla! I would call friends and tell them to meet me there, cause "La Iguana Loco" just sounds fun to say.
